New Year, Updated ME
After the longest hiatus, two children, natural disasters, personal loss, new home, and a whole gamut of other worldwide events, SHE’S BACK.
There’s so many things I want to share with you all, and looking back at my older posts (I FINALLY got them to import correctly!), I have grown so much since then and learned A LOT. I’m a wife, mom of two, creative, project manager, interior designer (stepping into my calling!), Healthcare IT Manager, and travel-enthusiast who STILL loves fashion. It looks a little bit different than it did a few years ago, but I’m still here, focusing on what I love, adding in my cultural context and highlighting my aptitude for DIY, creativity, and leadership (so I’ve been told and I’m embracing it).
This year is different. This year I’m stepping into my power and all my strengths. Instead of vision boards I’ve created goals trackers, project plans, and am building atomic habits. I’m reclaiming time, prioritizing self-care, and spending more time outdoors. I’m investing in relationships with expectation and clearer boundaries, and I’m aligning my choices with my ultimate goal to love others and God well.
Will I make mistakes? Absolutely. Will I accomplish every single goal? Unlikely. If you’ve met my kids, you know how fluid life can be; however, I’m committed to moving forward despite my circumstances, any negative obstacles, the political climate, or my own personal fears.
My hope is that you’ll join me in this journey as I navigate this new space. It’s going to be entertaining and uplifting at the very least, and I’m confident it will also be educational for us all.
Blessings to you in the New Year. If you’re struggling I pray you find peace, if you’re feeling down I pray you find hope, joy if you’re experiencing sadness, and if you feel alone I pray for feel loved, and that you’ll stick around to experience that and more here.
