Traveling in Style: PFW OOTD #1

"I'm only going to bring one bag....that's it!"...I promised myself.(Also to myself: "...Well....one bag and my purse...and shoes...and it's Paris...so you have to bring things back...")"Ok so I'll bring my backpack and an empty suitcase...but ONLY to bring back things from Paris..."*three hours later*"I'm just going to bring my backpack and this empty suitcase and my purse...and that's it!"The rest is history.It was my first time in Paris, and believe it or not, it was Paris Fashion Week!! Therefore, you can understand how incredibly excited I was to pack!  One must not go to Paris and fashion week without anything to wear, and so I pulled together some of my favorites for the journey. With a little lighting, a wonderful husband and a selfie stick, I got some great pictures! On our first day in the city, we were fortunate to attend the Dior exhibit, where this lovely navy blue wall made a great backdrop for poses! Click here for more about our day at Galeries Lafayette...Taking in the balcony sun. Mirrors and plants...that's all you need!The only unfortunate piece, was lugging around the loaded suitcase when we returned to London.  It was in that moment that I really understood the "beauty is pain" idea.Long story short, stick to your guns and travel light!  However....that doesn't mean you have to be relegated to only jeans and t-shirts. I've since developed a new packing method that doesn't include bringing 5+ pairs of shoes...Stay tuned for all of my outfit deets from the rest of the trip!
