MARCHING TO MY OWN BEAT

Style is a method of communication. Fashion is the medium often used for that communication. What does your style communicate? Is it individualistic? Politically driven? Based off current trends?This past weekend, I pulled out one of my favorite jackets....A thrifted military marching band gem, with double-breasted detailing to die for. I paired it with my Mary-Jane peep-toe heels, and a comfy knit skirt/turtleneck to complete the ensemble.My style is mixed, spontaneous, and even awkward at times. Bright colors, linear lines, and small patterns are some of my staples. I'm not crazy about trending, and I'm actually not a fan of the movement to resurrect 70's fashion (YES!!! I said it!) 😆 The point of my sharing this information is to communicate that everyone is different, and style is an individual expression of personality.
