ASC TRAVEL: Yosemite, Mammoth, and Stopping to Smell the Flowers

This weekend I took an impromptu road trip to Fossil Falls, Mammoth Lake and Yosemite, all places I've wanted to check off my travel bucket list for a long time.Not only was it beautiful, it was all so refreshing.Taking time out to be spontaneous amongst the never-ending rat race of life was a much needed break!This was especially important with all of the wedding planning! I tend to keep going to get things accomplished at 1000%, until my body protests, usually by me getting sick or exhausted.  One of the things I'm planning to bring into my marriage this year is a greater dedication to spending unplugged moments, appreciating life.I left Yosemite with a greater realization of how beautiful the world, just a few hours from my home base is. You often don't have to go far to experience God's art.That being said, I hope you can enjoy some quiet, unplugged moments just smelling the flowers in the near future.Happy week!-AB
